The iPhone 6 Plus features outstanding battery life, better than the iPhone 6 even. The Galaxy Note is also known for fantastic all-day battery life and we could see more of the same from the Galaxy Note 5. 

We don't have any benchmarks yet but we do have some rumors that hint at several improvements that could produce solid performance. 

SamMobile has been pretty accurate with Galaxy rumors and it believes that the Galaxy Note 5 will come with a brand new Exynos 7422 CPU. It will reportedly combine "the CPU, GPU, RAM, storage, and modem on a single chip." It's all about efficiency these days and a new chip could help with battery consumption.

Another Galaxy Note 5 rumor hints at a massive 4,100 mAh battery. To put that into perspective for you buyers out there, the Galaxy Note 4 comes with a 3,220 mAh battery. The Galaxy Note 4 is on par with the iPhone 6 Plus when it comes to battery.

Samsung's made it abundantly clear that battery life is an area of focus so we wouldn't be surprised if it plays a featured role in the Galaxy Note 5 launch.
