New Galaxy Devices Coming with Android 5.1.1

Samsung's big Android 5.1.1 push is likely going to include upcoming Galaxy devices including the unreleased Galaxy J2, Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, and more. 

Benchmarks suggest that Samsung is at least testing Android 5.1.1 on the Galaxy J2 ahead of its release. The Galaxy J2 is expected to be a mid-range phone, a sign that other mid-range phones could potentially get the bump to Android 5.1.1 down the road. 

SamMobile claims that the rumored Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, a possible successor to the Galaxy Note Edge, will come with Android 5.1.1. That could also mean that the Galaxy Note 5, Samsung's rumored flagship for 2015, will run Android 5.1.1 and not Android M.
