Android 5.1.1 Lollipop

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is rumored to have Android 5.1.1 Lollipop not Android M on board.

Google's not expected to release the Android M update until late Q3 which probably means September. The Developer Preview 3 (beta) for Nexus devices isn't out yet and that means that we still have a little ways to go before it gets pushed to the public.

Galaxy S6 Edge Plus rumors point to Android 5.1.1 on board and that's not such a bad thing. Android 5.1.1 is the most current version of Lollipop and it comes with tons of fixes and enhancements for Samsung's Galaxy phones.
