Step 5: Dig Into Early iOS 9.1 Feedback

If you're feeling a bit nervous about iOS 9.1 and its performance, you'll want to track down early iOS 9.1 feedback.

It's important to note that Apple isn't forcing you to install iOS 9.1. You have all of the time in the world to sit back, take note of the update's features and performance, and decide if it's worth the risk. This is going to be important for those of you coming from older iOS software on an older iPhone or iPad.

If you're having a good experience on iOS 9.0.2 or something older, you might want to wait a few hours for the smoke around the release to settle down. Wait for a few hours or even a day or two so that you can gather feedback from us and other sources.

I updated iPad to 9.1 last night 10/27/15. This morning, Google app won’t open and bricks the device. It took me 3 tries to get iPad to shut down so I could reboot. NEVER had a problem before 9.1. Confidence? I think not

I don’t know about the google app but I lost all my contacts and cannot re-load them. This is a big problem – any fixes?
