Step 6: Check With IT or Co-Workers

If you use your iPhone or iPad for work, you'll want to check in with your IT department if you have one on hand.

Enterprise problems are extremely common and we always hear about issues after iOS upgrades. So, you'll want to check in with IT and make sure that applications and other services you might use are compatible with iOS 9.1. Hopefully, your IT people have been using the iOS 9.1 beta.

If you don't have an IT department, you'll want to ask your co-workers for input. You might also want to go onto the App Store and read reviews from iOS 9.1 users. They could provide insight that could come in handy before you download and install iOS 9.1.

I updated iPad to 9.1 last night 10/27/15. This morning, Google app won’t open and bricks the device. It took me 3 tries to get iPad to shut down so I could reboot. NEVER had a problem before 9.1. Confidence? I think not

I don’t know about the google app but I lost all my contacts and cannot re-load them. This is a big problem – any fixes?
