iOS 9 Release Date
Nothing is confirmed but know that there probably won't be another iOS 8 update this close to the iOS 9 release date.
We still don't know exactly when Apple will replace the iOS 8.4.1 update with iOS 9 but we do have some clues.
Apple's iPhone launch event is heavily rumored for September 9th. At this point, we're not expecting another date from Apple. What this means is that we'll likely see iOS 9 announced alongside new iPhones on that date. And that means that we'll probably get an official iOS 9 release date.
Historically, Apple's released its iOS updates a few days before its new iPhone models. With an iPhone 6s release date likely coming between September 9th and September 28th, you can expect an iOS 9 release in that window as well.
So if you're dealing with iOS 8.4.1 problems or you decide that you don't want to download it, you probably have a month before Apple rolls out its next update.
