Home Sharing for Music Coming Back

Just in case you didn't know, Apple's iOS 8.4 update disables Home Sharing for Music in iOS. It's a move that many iPhone 6 users have been complaining about and it's a move that Apple seems willing to reverse though it will take some time.

Apple Music overlord Eddy Cue says that the company is working on bringing the feature back in the iOS 9 update. Apple rarely fails to deliver on its promises so there's a very good chance that iOS 9 will deliver this fall. It's not clear if it will appear in a future iOS 9 beta.

While Home Sharing for Music has been stripped from iOS 8 with iOS 8.4, it's important to note that iOS 8.4 does support video. Home Sharing for Music is also still available for the Mac and the Apple TV.

This upgrade recovered all deleted photos that I didn’t want back in my gallery.

I’ve noticed significant battery drain on my Iphone 6 since updated. Should have read this article first…

Anyone else seeing stability issues with Safari after installing it? Regularly closes on its own now – worse than I ever had back with Microsoft! Shouldn’t have upgraded :/

Since the update I have not been receiving texts and have not been able to send many either, iMessage rarely work!! My phone also won’t sync with some of my Bluetooth devices. Very frustrating.
