We could see an iOS 8.4.1 jailbreak for the iPhone 6 Plus arrive in October, so if you are on iOS 8.4.1 you should hold off on upgrading for now if a jailbreak is important to you. 

We haven't seen much public process on the iOS 9 jailbreak or even the iOS 9.0.2 jailbreak. 

The odds are good there will not be any public iOS 9 jailbreak release at least until after the iOS 9.1 update arrives.
