The Nexus 7 Android 6.0.1 update has been rolling out for more than a week now and by now, the OTA should be available for most people. 

If you haven't gotten the Nexus 7 Android 6.0.1 OTA yet, there's no need to panic. At least not yet. If you don't see it by the end of the weekend though, you might want to get in contact with Google or your service provider if you're using the LTE model.
