We haven't received our Nexus 7 Marshmallow update just yet but we're not worried. This is pretty standard for Google.

When Google first announced the Marshmallow release date, it noted that the update would be rolling out in stages. And that's precisely what it's doing. 

The Nexus 7 Android 6.0 system update is moving out slowly and it should reach most Nexus 7 in the next week and a half. There's no firm stop date so all you can do is keep an eye out for it. If you don't see something by early November, well, then you have a problem.
