The Galaxy Note 5: Everything You Need to Know Right Now

Screen Size & Resolution

We've seen some back and forth regarding the Galaxy Note 5 display and recently, we've seen concrete details emerge.

Thanks to the renders and a series of reports, it's looking like the Galaxy Note 5 will retain the same 5.7-inch screen size that Samsung applied to the Galaxy Note 4. That means that the overall size of the phone should be similar to that of last year's model only thinner.

It looks like Ultra HD resolution is out and Samsung will be sticking to 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution, same as the Galaxy Note 4. Quad HD resolution is perfectly fine for most people. The Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Note 4 displays are two of the best on the market right now and we expect the Galaxy Note 5 to be on par.

It was so disappointing to know that Samsung take away the best features on their phones like removable battery and micro sd card, im sure that most of their customers switch to other rival brands one of those was myself-(.

No removable battery or micro is a deal killer for me.

I agree with the other two comments – remove able battery and micro SD are two of the best features. Bad choices Samsung. If I am going to get an I-phone wannabe – I might as well get the real thing!

I hate this talk about premium design.
Plastic is stronger, less brittle, and more expensive than aluminium.
