Apple
13 Things You’ll Love About iOS 9
iPad Multitasking | ||||||||||||||
Apple's finally catching up to its competitors with some big changes to the multitasking funtion for its iPad series. And while the Split-Screen multitasking is limited to the iPad Air 2 and iPad Pro, there are two other features that are available for older devices. And we absolutely love them. The first is Picture in Picture. Picture in Picture allows you to watch a video while you're doing something else on screen. This is a nice feature for road trips , commutes, and flights. Get some work done while watching your fantasy players dominate. It's great. The other feature is something called Slide Over. It allows you to pull from the right side of the screen to open up a new menu. Select an app from the Menu, be it Twitter or something else, and you'll be able to use and interact with another app on screen. The number of apps that support this feature are limited at the moment but we expect to see more support as time goes on. | ||||||||||||||
