The iPad 3 event has finally been scheduled, and there is a lot of talk about what the iPad 3 will look like and what features the new iPad will have.

We covered what we expect at the Apple iPad event on March 7th, and looked into the missing home button on the iPad 3 event invitation earlier today, but now we want to share a cool iPad 3 concept.

iPad 3 Concept Video

Check out that edge-to-edge Retina Display on this concept iPad 3.

Like any good concept, this iPad 3 concept mixes a little of what we expect with a some amazing features we would love to see in the iPad 3, but will probably have to wait a few years for.

Check out the iPad 3 concept features video from Aatma Studios in the video below, then dive further to see more about the holographic edge to edge retina display, multi iPad NFC capabilities and other features in the individual videos later in the post.

That’s an impressive iPad 3. Just like the iPhone 5 concept video, I don’t think we’ll have a holographic display on the iPad 3 as it would be cost prohibitive and perhaps not even feasible. Still, can you imagine playing Madden 2012 and Angry Birds on that holographic display and linking 2 iPad 3’s together to get a bigger screen like Aatma shows in the video below.

Forget using magnets to hold the Smart Cover in place. This iPad 3 concept uses magnets and NFC technology to allow the iPad 3 to take over the display of a second iPad, making good use of the edge to edge Retina Display for an awesome viewing experience. Again, not likely to happen this go around, but wouldn’t you love this connected technology in the iPad 3?

In the last video, Aatma hopes for a 12MP camera on the back of the iPad 3, even though it is much more likely to feature the same 8MP camera as the iPhone 4S. They also solve the problem of the missing home button by making the edge to edge Retina Display a home button. This edge to edge display would allow apple to make a smaller iPad while keeping the same screen size.

What do you think? Would you buy this iPad 3? What if the iPad 3 price jumped $100?

Yes, Yes, Yes, I want it.    I like especially the concept of the 2 pieces, that connect together. Trouble is, I want it to be a Windows 8 Tablet PC.

That video is amazing.  How did they ever do it?
