October Clash of Clans Update: 5 Things to Expect

For months we've been hearing a brand new extremely exciting new feature is coming, and at this point the entire Clash of Clans forum thinks the major update in October will be Clan War Tournaments. Essentially after each clan wins a war, they face a member of another clan that also won its war, with a bracked system similar to any tournament. In the end one Clan will be the victors of that Tournament, and there would be hundreds and thousands of these on top of regular Clan Wars. Of course this would be an opt-in feature, like opting into Clan Wars.

To add more fuel to this fire, there will actually be "Clan War Tournaments" on stage during Clash Con, ones that are regular 10v10, and also 5v5, which has never been an option in Clan Wars. We could see a new 5v5 war option, along with Tournaments.

And finally, the official Clash of Clans YouTube and other video channels have been hosting Clan War tournaments all over select regions in Finland, where SuperCell headquarters are, which was mainly for "fun" and as a way of advertising the game. That said, it could also have been a beta test that no one knew was a beta test.

The word on the street is that Clan War Tournaments (that end in bigger loot bonuses and even gems) is coming in October, along with 5v5 Clan Wars.
