10 Best Moto X Pure Edition Cases
The new Moto X Pure Edition for 2015 is a big, beautiful smartphone with a 5.7-inch Quad-HD display. It’s wrapped with an aluminum shell, and most owners probably opted for some level of customization. Whether that be a plastic back, leather, real wood and more. Even with all the custom choices many will still want to protect their new phone with a case. Here we’ll be sharing some of our favorite Moto X Pure Edition cases.
For whatever reason we’re not seeing as many big names in cases and accessories make options for the Moto X Pure Edition, but that could be because it’s not being sold by carriers, even though it works on all US carrier networks. That said, there are still countless excellent options for owners.

With such a big 5.7-inch screen the Moto X Pure Edition is bigger than every version before it. All that screen and body space needs to be protected, and a bigger screen is also easier to drop. As a result many who are looking for cases need a little direction, and here we’ll be suggesting a few great cases that are available right now.
Top brands like Speck, Spigen and even Seidio decided to skip the Moto X Pure Edition for 2015, and aren’t offering cases. This has many long-time Spigen owners looking elsewhere. We’re not sure why they didn’t build cases for this phone, but that could be due to the fact that many buyers will customize it, and won’t need a case.
At the same time, the Moto X Pure Edition comes with a bumper case inside the box, even the cheapest $399 model. Meaning users can customize it with leather, wood, or a hard plastic back, use the included bumper case, and have all the protection they’d ever need.
That said, the included case is pretty terrible, cheap plastic, and won’t last. Those looking to get more function out of their device with a case, protect that 5.7-inch screen, or keep that genuine leather in good shape for years to come will want to consider one of the many options outlined below. We have everything from thin cheap TPU cases, wallet cases, kickstands, to the utmost protection and more.

Great write up, man! I use the supcase with the alightly frosted back…still lets my custom back show through. Debating on getting the otterbox. Way overpriced…hides my back completely …but dam are they sturdy. the supwr thin bezel on my X makes me nervous.

The Incipio DualPro case has saved my phone from two drops that happened from the height of a pant pocket. One drop landed flat face down, and the second landed on a corner of the phone: no cracks, no scratches, no visible damage to the case, nothing. Rock solid performance! The case fits the phone like a glove, none of the ports are covered, and the buttons function perfectly. Unless you need a case with a built-in screen protector, this is a great buy.

The Nillkin low profile flip cover case is the best.
Sleek, stylish and provides protection.
