Major Infinite Warfare Bonus Items Coming in December

There are more reasons than ever to play Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare this December. After a month we’ve seen major updates to the game and the Infinite Warfare DLC is coming fast in 2017, but while you wait there are huge bonuses that allow you to get new weapons, play on new Christmas themed maps and earn extra salvage.

Starting today you can get a new Epic weapon free in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare if you’ve also played Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and that is just the start.

Here’s a look at what is coming to Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare in December as part of the 12 days of Winter promo and what is already available for you starting today.

Free Epic Infinite Warfare Weapon

A free Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare epic weapon is now available.

If you’ve played the current and the last Call of Duty games you get a free Epic Infinite Warfare weapon to use. The Hailstorm – Thunder is unlocked in the QuarterMaster and also in Create a Class. This is a three round burst pistol that includes two perks.

Whirlwind – fast cycling auto burst that increases recoil
Focus – reduces idle sway while aiming down the sights

You can equip this weapon today and start using it in the game. You need to have played Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 with an Internet connection and be playing Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare now online to get this bonus.

Holiday Infinite Warfare Map

A special new Genesis Holiday map is is coming to Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare later this month. The Genesis map gets a night-time mode that is set up for the holidays with decorations. Get ready for a darker theme as the sun sets and Christmas looms.

Activision confirms that this will be in the normal rotation as well as a 24/7 Genesis Holiday playlist that is, “ready to spread cheer, goodwill and high KDRs.

12 Days of Winter Infinite Warfare Bonus

Even more Infinite Warfare Bonus items are coming.

This is just the start of the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare 12 Days of Christmas bonus items. You will also get gifts by logging in to play Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare in December. Starting on December 21st and running through January 1st there will be a special gift that arrives as a log-in bonus.

This will include Salvage and Key bonuses, winter themed common, Rare and Legendary prototypes and more. There is no mention if Season Pass holders get an extra bonus on top of this.

Activision also teases new Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Double XP events and other special bonuses and announcements this month.
