We've heard this rumor before and it didn't pan out. Maybe the third time will be a charm?

Rumors suggested the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro would come in a larger 2TB storage configuration. Those rumors failed to pan out. 

Unsurprisingly, we're now hearing the iPhone 16 Pro models may come with a 2TB option. The rumor comes from a well-known South Korean blog.

Evidently, the change is coming due to Apple's reportedly switching to Quad-Level Cell (QLC) NAND flash for larger storage variants. 

yeux1122 also says the iPhone 16 Pro could have storage "up to 2TB storage."

Take it with a grain of salt, but if you've been waiting for Apple to deliver more than 1TB of internal storage, you might want to hang around and wait. 

Also of note, an extremely sketchy rumor claims both iPhone 16 Pro models will start with 256GB of storage. It's not a great source so we aren't putting stock in it yet. 

If it pans out, it would be the first time Apple hasn't offered 128GB on the smaller Pro model.
