In conjunction with the upgrades to Siri and AI, it looks like Apple will also upgrade the microphone on the iPhone 16 to help boost the experience. 

The information comes from long time analyst Ming-Chi Kuo who says his latest survey indicates "all iPhone 16 models will feature a significant upgrade in microphone specifications."

Specifically, Kuo claims the new microphone will gain better water resistance and "better signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) to improve the Siri experience significantly."

Kuo's been backed up by another analyst. Haitong analyst Jeff Pu says the new iPhone 16 models will indeed have a higher signal-to-noise ratio than previous iPhone models.
