God of War 3 Remastered (PS4) - July 14

God of War Remastered is just as its name suggests –sort of. To celebrate the ten year anniversary of the God of War series Sony is giving PS4 owners an opportunity to relive some of their greatest moments again. What’s interesting, is that God of War Remastered isn’t exactly a complete remake of the series. Instead, it includes just God of War 3.

Photo Mode will allow God of War Remastered players on the PS4 to customize their camera and lighting effects, lending what was already a beautiful game more creative tools. Mainly, God of War Remastered is a high-definition upgrade of the original, with more textures and better-than-before 1080p resolution. The game will even run at 60 frames per second, the max available to PS3 users.

God of War Remastered is available in the PlayStation Store now for pre-order. It costs $39.99. Buying the game also lets users rent the two previous games in the series for 90 days through Sony’s PlayStation Now rental service.
