NBA 2K19 is confirmed, but we still don't know much about the game itself. Let's start with what we do know.
We know there will be a Prelude released before the game's release date on August 31st for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
If you're unfamiliar with the Prelude, it's a free introduction to the game’s expansive MyCareer mode and it allows you to get your created character ready for the main version of the game. Other than Prelude though, we don't know much about the game.
Visual Concepts has finally released the first gameplay trailer, but we don't have much information about the specific changes coming in this year's game.
Our NBA2K19 wishlist currently includes more MyPlayer customization and ways to share your MyPlayer, voice customization, new Archetypes, and enhanced press conferences.
If you're on the fence about a pre-order, you might want to wait for the first in-depth gameplay previews to emerge before committing to this year's game.
