If you’re in the market for a brand new phone this month, you’re going to be faced with a very difficult decision because the smartphone marketplace is chock full of top notch options ahead of the holidays. In an effort to help those that are in need, we take a look at the devices we think are the five best phones money can buy in the month of November. Over the past 10 months, we’ve seen smartphone manufacturers unleash a number of big time smartphones. Early in the year, it was the Samsung Galaxy S5 and HTC One M8 that beckoned the hard earned cash of consumers. More recently, its been devices like the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, LG G3, Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and Moto X that have tempted consumers across the U.S. and around the world. While it’s certainly nice to have that amount of choice, it presents problems for many people, especially those that don’t keep up with the fast paced world of phones. By our count, there is only one big smartphone release remaining and that’s the Nexus 6 from Motorola and Google. Picking out your next phone can be a struggle and that’s why we want to help those who are struggling with a decision. We are constantly bombarded with questions about the best phones money can buy. There are a number of different devices that we could recommend, the smartphone market is full of solid choices, but we want to narrow things down a bit and take a look at what we consider to be the top five smartphones available. These devices represent the devices that we’d recommend to friends and family. And while our list may differ from yours, these are the devices that Gotta Be Mobile editors have selected for recognition this month. We feel like the devices listed here deliver the best, all-around package for this month and this month alone. With that in mind, here are the five best phones for November, 2014. iPhone 6 In September, Apple's new iPhone 6 replaceed the iPhone 5s as the company's high-end iPhone flagship. And like the iPhone 5s before it, the iPhone 6 is considered, by many, to be one of the best smartphones on the planet and a device that smartphone shoppers should look at before settling on a device this holiday season. Apple's iPhone 6 comes with an assortment of top notch features including a 4.7-inch Retina HD display, a speedy A8 processor, a fantastic rear camera, a metal design, Touch ID fingerprint technology, tons of storage space, and the company's brand new iOS 8 operating system. The iPhone 6 isn't cheap, it starts at $199.99, but those that buy into the new iPhone will be getting one of the best phones on the market and one that should last three years or more thanks to new iOS software updates. Apple tends to keep iPhones updated for three years before kicking them to the curb. Before buying, have a look at our full length review to absorb the strengths and weakeness of one of the top smartphones money can buy. iPhone 6 Plus The iPhone 6 Plus is the iPhone 6's larger counterpart and it, like the iPhone 6, is one of the best smartphones that money can buy right now. Apple's iPhone 6 Plus is the company's massive 5.5-inch iPhone and a direct challenger to devices like the LG G3 and Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Like the iPhone 6, it comes loaded with hardware features though it comes with some notable differences including 1080p resolution and Optical Image Stabilization with the camera. The iPhone 6 Plus is a little more expensive, it starts at $299.99, but it's arguably the best large screen smartphone that money can buy and for many of you, especially those already in Apple's ecoysystem, it's going to be worth the price of admission. LG G3 The LG G3 is one of the premier smartphones on the market as it combines high-end hardware, useful software and an inexpensive price tag into one solid package. The LG G3 is one of our personal favorites and a device that should be on the radar of those looking to buy a new smartphone during the month of November. LG's G3 took over for the LG G2 several months ago and since then, it has reigned as one of the best all-around Android devices on the market. From its large Quad HD display to its speedy processor to its camera and battery life, this is one of the best smartphones that money can buy. Best of all, the LG G3 is now extremely cheap as retailers and carriers try and make it attractive next to the latest and greatest Android devices. The LG G3 might not have the biggest name but it's a big time device and it's worthy of your attention. Please do yourself a favor and investigate. Take a look at it before buying your next phone. Our LG G3 review should help. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 The all new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is a massive step up from last year's Galaxy Note 3. It features a beautiful display with new S Pen features and a fantastic camera. While it's on the expensive side, it's a device that is in the top tier of smartphones in November. We even like it better than the Galaxy S5. Samsung's Galaxy Note 4 arrived last month to great fanfare and it's as good as advertised. It offers you a massive 5.7-inch Quad HD display, an improved design that combines plastic with metal, a camera with Optical Image Stabilization, and a speedy processor that's capable of providing excellent multitasking and gaming. We haven't seen any massive Galaxy Note 4 deals emerge just yet but we should start to see the Galaxy Note 4 price drop as we push into November and closer to Black Friday and the holiday shopping season. The new Moto X, also known as Moto X, delivers a powerful package. In some circles, the Moto X is considered the best Android smartphone on the market. In our opinion, it's one of the best Android phones ever made and one of the best smartphones you can buy right now. The new Moto X offers a brand new design, a beautiful display, tons of of horsepower, a good camera, and extremely useful software. The device is essentially a Nexus smartphone with some nice Motorola features attached. If you like vanilla Android, this is a phone to look at this month. Unlike some of these phones, the Moto X is cheap on-contract. And that low price should put it near the top of your shopping list during the month of November.
