Those looking to buy a new T-Mobile smartphone in July are going to have their hands full thanks to the carrier’s extensive smartphone lineup. In an effort to help those that are in the hunt for a brand new device this month, we take a look at the devices we think make up the five best T-Mobile smartphones for the month of July, 2014.
This year got off to an extremely slow start though, we we’ve progressed deeper and deeper into it, we’ve started to see companies unload their wares to carriers in the United States. Devices like the Samsung Galaxy S5, HTC One M8, and the LG G3 are now available at a number of different U.S. carriers including T-Mobile.
T-Mobile has quickly become an attractive destination for those that are looking to snag a new smartphone without a contract. It also helps that the company offers affordable data plans, an extensive 4G LTE network that now includes LTE-A data speeds in select parts of the country. T-Mobile, like its rivals, also offers an extensive selection of smartphones that includes the top devices on the market.
For many consumers, picking out a new T-Mobile smartphone this month is going to be an easy task. You’ve done your homework and you know, heading into the store, which devices you’ll be looking at. For others, coming to a decision is a difficult process thanks to the number of options that T-Mobile offers to its customers.
Every day we get asked questions about smartphones. About which device is best. About the five devices we like the best on carriers like T-Mobile. Because the landscape is always changing, we typically have different answers each month. And that’s why we put together a list every month running down the top smartphones on all of the top carriers in the United States.
These devices represent the devices that we’d recommend to friends and family. And while our list may differ from yours, these are the devices that Gotta Be Mobile editors have selected for recognition this month. We feel like the devices listed here deliver the best, all-around package for this month and this month alone.
With that in mind, here now are the five devices we think are the five best T-Mobile smartphones for this month.
It's clear that the iPhone 6 release will land at some point in the fall, possibly in September. What this means is that the iPhone 5s will remain Apple's top option for the month of July and for the foreseeable future. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
While the price of the iPhone 5s hasn't seen a significant drop since it was released back in September, it's still a device that lives up to its premium price point.
One thing to note. Apple may not be offering a discount on the iPhone 5s but we're starting to see retailers slash the price of the iPhone 5s. Recently, Walmart permanently chopped the price of the iPhone 5s and several other well known retailers have offered deals.
Its industrial design, Retina Display, 8MP iSight camera, 64-bit processor, and iOS 7 software should help to put the iPhone 5s near the top of T-Mobile shoppers lists during the month of July and beyond.
