5 Best Tablets [April, 2014]

Picking out your next tablet can be a difficult task, particularly for those that may not be caught up on the latest devices. Here, in an effort to help those struggling to come to a decision, we take a look at the slates we consider to be the five best tablet options on the market for the month of April, 2014.

As we move deeper into the year, we inch closer to this year’s crop of tablets. Rumors suggest that we could see a brand new Nexus 8 in July and perhaps, a new Nexus 10 sooner than that. From the look of things though, most of the big names that could potentially arrive in 2014 are still several months away which means that consumers are going to have to settle for a market that is dominated by last year’s devices.

While the tablet market might not be as fresh as the smartphone market is, there are still some very solid options to choose from during the month of April. In fact, for some consumers, the amount of choice might be a little overwhelming.

Simply put, there are an absolute ton of tablets out on the market right now and wading through those different choices can be difficult process. That’s why we want to help whittle those choices down in an effort to make the process more fluid. Walking into a store with your top options in mind will save you time and potentially, some money as well.

Keep in mind, our list may differ from yours but these are the devices that Gotta Be Mobile editors have selected for recognition this month. We feel like they deliver the best, all-around package at the moment.

With that said, let’s take a look at the devices that we consider to be the five best tablets for the month of April, 2014.
