HP Stream Notebook 13

HP Stream Notebook 13

The HP Stream 13 isn’t like the Lenovo Yoga Laptop 2 or the Dell Inspiron 11. There are no trick hinges that let you flip its screen. There isn’t a Tent Mode or a Stand Mode.  Instead, with the HP Stream Notebook 13, HP focused on price and personalization.

The HP Stream 14 comes in either Horizon Blue or Orchid Magenta. It’s a traditional notebook in every sense. Opening its lid reveals an embedded keyboard, 13-inch display, webcam and touch pad in all the usual places. The battery life, according to HP, is about 8 hours.

Inside the HP Stream 13 is 2GB of RAM, 32GB of on-board storage, 3 USB ports – one of them USB 3.0 for faster transfers – and a basic Intel Celeron processor. With all that you might think that you’re looking at a pretty expensive computer. You’re not, the HP Stream 13 costs just $229 at Amazon and includes a subscription to Microsoft Office 365 Personal valued at $69.99.

I have an Asus Transformer Book T300LA, and it has an amazing keyboard and an all aluminium build. Intel Haswell Core i5, 4gb of RAM, 128gb SSD and I got it for $630 with one year subscription to office 365
