Wait for a New Design
If you aren't a huge fan of the iPhone's current design language, think about waiting until next year.
According to Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple is planning significant changes to the iPhone's design in 2020. In a new research note, Kuo claims the 2020 iPhone models will sport a new metal frame that's similar to the one Apple used on the iPhone 4 way back when.
In the note obtained by MacRumors, Kuo claims the devices will feature "a more complex segmentation design, new trenching and injection molding procedures, and sapphire or glass cover assembly to protect the trench injection molding structure."
He claims the new design will be a major selling point and could propel Apple's smartphone shipments to 85 million units in 2020.
If this sounds like something you might be interested in, think about hanging around. If it's true, we should see multiple rumors hint at the change in the months ahead.
