Buying a new iPhone right now might be tempting, but some might want to wait for the 2023 iPhone, presumably called iPhone 15.

If you’re thinking about upgrading your phone, you’ve got a ton of options to sift through. The iPhone 14 series represents the company’s top-of-the-line, but Apple’s got plenty of other devices that are worthy of your attention including the iPhone 13 series, iPhone 12 series, and iPhone SE 3.

And while many of you will be perfectly fine buying one of these iPhones, or a device outside of Apple’s ecosystem, many others should consider waiting for the 2023 iPhone now that the launch is right around the corner.

iPhone 15 Rumors

iPhone 15 rumors have been swirling for months and the company’s upcoming models sound like they’ll be worthy successors to the iPhone 14. On paper, at least.

Apple will likely keep four iPhone models around so look for Apple to launch an iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and a iPhone 15 Max.

We also expect Apple to keep the same screen sizes for all four models which means the ‌iPhone 15‌ and iPhone 15 Pro will likely be 6.1-inches while the ‌iPhone 15‌ Plus and iPhone 15 Pro Max will be 6.7-inches. This has been backed up by a fairly prominent leaker.

We could see Apple make some big changes to the iPhone in 2023 and that puts those of you in the market for a new device in a tough position in 2023: Buy a new device now or wait?
