With almost every iPhone I've purchased I upgraded to more storage. I was using the 128GB iPhone 7 Plus and was certain I would need a 256GB iPhone X to survive for a year, but after installing most of the apps I need every day and syncing up my Photos with iCloud I think I may be able to survive on a 64GB iPhone.
I'm currently using 21GB of storage and with new features that will offload unused apps and the ability to keep my photos in the cloud and share a huge chunk of iCloud storage with my family 64GB seems livable. The only real catch here is when it comes to 4K video. I shoot a lot of our videos including car reviews on my iPhone7 Plus in 4K and on a Go Pro. The new 4K 60FPS option on the iPhone 8 Plus is awesome, but it uses 400MB per minute of video. If I am away from WiFi and recording a lot of video this could prove a challenge. |
