Microsoft’s Xbox One entertainment console is going into this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo a lot stronger than was the case last year. At E3 2014, the company couldn’t afford to make a mistake. Console fans were fed up with the company spending time at its briefing talking about software upgrades and new entertainment apps. They didn’t want to hear about the latest game geared towards casual players. Some were hoping Microsoft wouldn’t mention the Xbox One’s two most defining features, television connectivity and the Kinect sensor, at all. Microsoft spent its entire E3 2014 briefing talking about video games.
The move worked, which is exactly why it’s likely that the company’s E3 2015 Media Briefing will be about nothing but Xbox One games and things that Xbox One gamers care about. To be clear, this isn’t thing near approaching an exhaustive list, just games that have a higher than average chance of being among the titles that Microsoft chooses to showcase the power of the Xbox One as it battles the PS4 for supremacy.
