If you're upgrading from iOS 10.3 or something older, it'll be much bigger thanks to the features from the iOS 10 updates you skipped. 

The iPhone 6s iOS 10.3 update was a big one and it delivered new features, bug fixes, tweaks, and security patches. 

The iOS 10.3 change log included a new Find My AirPods features, the file system change to AFPS, some huge changes to CarPlay, tweaks to Podcasts, changes to Siri, and some improvements to the device's 3D Touch functionality.
