On my way to the Blue Ridge for our semi-regular visit with the mountain kin. Thought I’d take the opportunity to 1) offer a grease-free and mobile counterpoint to Warner’s recent breakfast post, 2) try out the WordPress app on my iPhone, and 3) create an excuse to have a fruit smoothie.
First, I don’t endorse having a fruit smoothie for breakfast every day. But when you got somewhere to go, it’s tough to beat a meal in a cup. Fruit is a major component obviously, but my smoothie joint, Robeks, offers nutrient supplements for protein, fiber, and various vitamin and herbal mixtures for more nutritional complexity. It’s my simple and healthy meal on the go.
