The latest reports suggest the iPhone se camera will deliver the ability to take better photos than previously expected.

Early reports from Kuo suggested the iPhone se would use a 8MP sensor, but the latest research note upgrades the sensor to a 12MP, like that found in the iPhone 6s.

With this new sensor on the back of the iPhone se, expect to see Live Photos support, larger panoramas and better looking photos.

The iPhone se will also include a 1.2MP front-facing camera according to reports. There is no mention of a front-facing flash, but with a rumored processor upgrade this is possible.

Like the iPhone 5s, expect the camera to be flush with the iPhone, not sticking out like on the iPhone 6s.
