iPhone se Features -- What Can the New iPhone Do? | ||||||||||||

The most interesting new iPhone se rumor is that Apple plans to pack the same processor inside that is in the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. If the iPhone se features the Apple A9 processor currently in the iPhone 6s, that opens up a lot of potential features. This report makes sense if Apple considers this to be an iPhone that is in the same line as those launched last fall, and not part of the new iPhone 7 lineup for 2016. According to 9to5Mac the iPhone se will support Hey Siri at anytime, like the iPhone 6s. Many reports outline support for Apple Pay with NFC built-in and the Apple A9 processor could deliver other features. The Apple A9 processor also allows the iPhone 6s to flash the front display for a Selfie flash. The M9 coprocessor allows the iPhone 6s to track running and walking pace in addition to simply tracking steps. it's not clear if these features will come to the iPhone se. | ||||||||||||

It seems odd that Apple would deliver this new phone as 5se. iPhone 5 series (5,5C,5s) is so 2012-2013 ( no offence these iPhones they were and are still good phones). However to name this new phone 6c or even the 7c see makes more sense.
