So far there are not a lot of Battleborn reviews to read. This is becuase most of the reviews are, in progress, instead of complete. This is to allow reviewers to test the game on the real servers that gamers will use. 

For an online multiplayer game, this is an essential part of the process. Servers and the end user environment can make or break a game. 

IGN gives the game a 7.3 for the Battleborn review in progress. While they aren't impressed with the targets you are shooting in the campaign mode, they really like the heroes. 

Other publications are still working on Battleborn reviews, and mention that replayability may be an issue. 

On Metacritic there the user score is 7.8 with generally favorable reviews. We expect to see more reviews by the end of the week which could help you decide if it is worth buying.
