Space vs. World War 1

One of the key differences between the two games will be the setting. While Infinite Warfare will take gamers to space, Battlefield 1 will turn back the clock and take gamers to the dawn of all out warfare, otherwise known as World War 1.

Battlefield 1 will take gamers to historic battlefields on the Italian coast and the Arabian Desert. Infinite Warfare, according to Activision, will be "taking players on a journey from Earth to beyond our atmosphere" in an "epic new setting."

EA DICE is working to make the experience as authentic as possible which means there won't be red dot sights or ACOG attachments for weapons. Instead, you'll be working with the Luger, old school knives, classic shotguns, and a whole lot more.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare weaponry will still be projectile-based but we'll likely see an array of modern weapons and gadgets to choose from. Don't expect lasers, but we could see weapons that are more futuristic than what soldiers use today.

Both games will feature a single-player campaign mode as well as a multiplayer mode. And while Call of Duty will likely keep battles to the fast-paced six versus six combat, Battlefield 1 will feature a chaotic 32-versus-32 64-player warfare mixed in with other smaller map types.
