Modern Combat 5 from Gameloft is on a lot of lists for one of the best mobile games around. It wasn't released in 2017 or even remotely new, but it's still one of the best games you can play today. If you love first person shooter titles, this will be worth playing. It shows the quality of console graphics better than most, and has over 2 million reviews on the Google Play Store. That alone should tell you all you need to know. Between the 6 chapter single-player campaign and lots of multiplayer options for eSports, you've probably heard about this game before.
