Verizon wasn’t the only one to unleash official pricing for its variant of the Samsung Galaxy S4 today, no, Best Buy also unfurled its on-contract pricing for the Verizon Galaxy S4 saying that the device will be coming to its shelves soon.

Earlier this week, ahead of Verizon’s official pre-order, Best Buy began taking pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S4. The retailer is currently taking pre-orders in the store and prior to today, we had no idea how much those going through the retailer were going to have to pay once the device is released. Fortunately, thanks to its website, now we do.

The Verizon Galaxy S4 will hit Best Buy soon for $250.

Those who pre-order through Best Buy are going to be facing a $250 on-contract price for the Verizon Galaxy S4, the same price that Verizon announced today. Unfortunately, it’s unclear if the Best Buy price will be seeing a mail-in rebate, like Verizon’s, which would drop it down to $199.99 on-contract, a much more affordable price.

The site also again shows the off-contract price of $699.99 which is actually $50 cheaper, at least at the moment, than the other models that are available on Best Buy. Off-contract, Best Buy is charging $750 for the AT&T and Sprint models. It’s possible that this price could be tagged to the Verizon Galaxy S4 in the future but as of now, it’s listed at $700.

Best Buy also says that, under Store Pickup, that the Verizon Galaxy S4 will be coming soon. However, it doesn’t mention a specific date. Verizon won’t have the Galaxy S4 in stores until May 30th so it’s possible that Best Buy will have to wait that long as well. Employees at several stores we talked to did not know when the retailer would get it.

Those that are looking to pre-order through Best Buy and not Verizon will have to put down $50 for a gift card that can be used towards the purchase of the phone or for something else entirely, should a different decision be made. Those looking to pre-order at a Best Buy store won’t find any of that information readily available.

The retailer does not have any signage up for the pre-order which means that interested customers are going to have to approach a sales representative about the offer.

Best Buy had said that the AT&T and Sprint Galaxy S4 would be in-stores on April 27th though it’s unclear how Sprint’s delay might impact those sales. We’ve reached out to Best Buy for more information and will update this post when we receive it.

Thanks, Matt!
