Best Cheap Android Tablets
Lenovo A8 | |||||||
Released earlier this year is the new Lenovo IdeaTab A8 tablet. This device isn't quite as high-end as the Nexus 7 or G Pad, but comes close for a much lower price point. Lenovo sells this cheap Android tablet direct for $179, but users can find it brand new from Amazon for only $149. So what does that get you? The Lenovo A8 has an 8-inch 1280 x 720p HD display (no 1080p here, but still looks good) and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. You'll enjoy a MediaTek Quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a micro-SD slot for expansion to load with music, movies, and games, and even a 5 megapixel rear camera. The build quality may not match the aluminum of the LG G Pad 8.3 or the plush Nexus 7, but coming with a durable plastic navy blue shell it still feels like a premium device, even for $149. | |||||||

The Tegra Note only has 1gb RAM. Even with that limitation though the thing runs great, very rarely do I run into any hiccups. The other specs more than make up for it. If a K1 version comes out I’ll definitely be buying it. Will never touch a Nexus device again after how buggy the 2013 N7 is.
