Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018)

Last but finally not least is the all-new Samsung Galaxy A8 or even the Galaxy A8 Plus. This is by far the most expensive phone on our list, but you're getting a device almost comparable to the Galaxy S8 for much cheaper. 

These are two stunning phones released in early January 2018 by Samsung. The idea here is to take the impressive Galaxy S8 design, improve it a little, and make it more affordable. These are basically what the Galaxy S8 should have been, but wasn't. 

Samsung's Galaxy A8 comes with a 5.6-inch edge-to-edge 1080p HD AMOLED display, or the A8+ has a 6-inch screen. Both phones have an impressive design, quality 16 Megapixel cameras, two cameras on the front for better selfies, microSD slots for storage expansion and more. Here's everything you need to know. 

The Galaxy A8 and A8+ (2018) feature IP68 dust and water-resistance, Samsung Pay, all-day battery life, premium build materials, and cost under $600. We're still waiting for an official release date in the United States, and pricing, but expect more information before the end of January. 

Basically, these should be high on your list, if you aren't waiting for the Galaxy S9.
