HP managed to double the iPad Pro’s battery life by using a Snapdragon 835 processor with 4GB of RAM for the Envy X2. It lasts 22 hours on one charge. Additionally, an hour-and-a-half charge gets this tablet back to 90% of its battery capacity. When you aren’t at your desk, switch on the device’s LTE data and you don’t need to search for free Wi-Fi hotspots. The HP Envy X2 has a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5-megapixel camera for video chatting too. While these don’t blow away the 12.9-inch iPad Pro’s camera sensors, they’re better than what’s in most Windows 10 tablets. This tablet also has a single USB Type-C port, a MicroSD card slot, a headset jack and up to 256GB of internal storage. The included cover transforms into its kickstand and a backlit keyboard with trackpad. A loop on its side stores the HP Digital Pen when you’re aren’t writing or drawing on the 12.3-inch 1920 x 1280 display in tablet mode. The HP Envy X2 launches sometime this spring.
