Our last tablet is another from LeapFrog, although this doesn't feature the same proprietary software as the others. Instead, the new Epic runs on Android, and has access to a wider amount of apps, games, content, and other educational stuff.
The LeapFrog Epic has a similar 7-inch display and design as the others, but the idea is kids can grow with the tablet. The durable bumper case can be removed later when a child feels they no longer need it and are grown up, there's extra space with 16GB of storage, and as we said it runs Android instead of the system provided with most LeapFrog or LeapPad tablets. The Epic has access to many of the same LeapFrog titles, as well as Android apps, and the interface can be customized and changed as the child ages. It's a nice mix of options for those looking for something more than only a kids tablet that doesn't do much else. An added benefit of it running Android means popular apps like YouTube, Netflix and more. So kids can use it for learning, playing, watching movies and more. It's an all-in-one kids tablet of sorts. It comes in 8GB or 16GB options.
