The rumored black Samsung Galaxy S III has made an official appearance over on T-Mobile all but confirming the device’s eventual release on the carrier.

Last week, the black Galaxy S III popped up in the system of a retailer in the UK and now, according to Android Central, the device has made its way over to T-Mobile itself. It has also already shown up on Samsung’s Facebook page.

T-Mobile’s promotion clearly showcases the black Samsung Galaxy S III so it’s clear that the United Kingdom won’t be the only region seeing the new color.

Of course, neither Samsung nor T-Mobile has announced anything yet though it’s now clear that a black Samsung Galaxy S III is indeed on the way at some point in the future. It’s now, just a matter of when.

It could be a matter of days or weeks or, it could be a matter of months. Samsung has already confirmed that new color variants of the Galaxy S III are on the way but as of yet, the company has not released any release date details. It could be that it releases them in a staggered manner rather than introducing them all at once.

It’s also unclear if the black variant represents the only new color or if others are on the way. However, one thing is for sure. The black colored Galaxy S III is on its way to join the pebble blue, white, and exclusive AT&T red Galaxy S III devices that are already on shelves.

The Samsung Galaxy S III launched in June in the United States to much fanfare. And while it stumbled out of the blocks due to supply issues, the device has gone on to launch on five of the country’s five largest carriers including AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and U.S. Cellular.

It’s unclear which of those carriers will be getting the black version of the Galaxy S III beyond T-Mobile at this point though.

We’ll be on the look out for that and we’ll also be on the lookout for the Galaxy S III Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update which is said to be rolling out on August 29th.
