Clash of Clans December Update: What We Know So Far

In a forum post by the Supercell development team we learned that this update will be about a lot more than just adding new troops, new spells, a new Town Hall and other things. It will be aimed at improving the game for everyone.

The developers announced that the December update will change shields, and add a new "village guard concept" but that's all they said. This could be part of the new hero that guards our village, shorter shields for those who Town Hall snipe, and more, but we just don't know what's going to change yet.

Rumors around the Clash of Clans forum suggest that the developers want to allow players to protect their village when they aren't on the game. We've all been there, attack a few bases and then turn off your phone, and your base is instantly attacked and you lose a few hundred thousand Gold and Elixir, and more.

Of course attacking villages won't go away, as there would be no point to the game, but there will be some new way to protect our villages unlike ever before. That's all we know, so stay tuned.
