A few days ago we detailed some of the new features coming with the brand new Clash of Clans summer 2015 update, which is the biggest update for the mobile game in nearly nine months. Now that it has arrived, here we want to go over five or so things gamers need to know about the latest Clash update, all the changes, and what to expect.
With more than 150 million installs on iOS, and over 100 million on Android it’s easy to see why Clash of Clans is one of the most popular and successful mobile games on the planet. Part of the reason is the developers, Supercell, constantly add more features and additions with big updates like the one that rolled out on July 1st.
This entire week the company has been teasing some of the major changes coming to Clash of Clans, like level 5 dragons, new spells and more, then late last night (early July 1st) it finally arrived after a long two-hour maintenance break to complete all the changes. Read on for a few key things to know.
Clash of Clans has been around for almost three years on iOS, and was released in October of 2013 for Android. The company does an excellent job keeping it new and fresh by adding new features, additional troops, and balancing gameplay to make it more fun for all players.
This week the biggest update in nearly nine months arrived that is changing the entire dynamic of Clash of Clans. The update hit last night, and there’s a changelog right inside the game that most players should see and get familiar with.
Some of the headline changes or additions we went over in the link above are level 5 dragons, a second air sweeper, a dark elixir spell factory with three new spells, and two new leagues for advanced gamers in the 4000 and 5000 trophy range. And while that’s all nice, they aren’t the only things people need to know about.
Yes, level 5 dragons and some of the other changes are huge, but it’s the smaller things going unnoticed that gamers need to be aware of. The slideshow below will go over five things that all Clash of Clan gamers should know.
