The Dell Latitude 7400 2-in-1 is a new business 2-in-1 for 2019 that packs in most requested business features – speed, security, versatility and mobile productivity into a package that they say is the smallest commercial 14-inch 2-in-1 available.
Designed to meet the needs of more demanding employees that want thin, portable and flexible technology that also looks good, the Dell Latitude 7400 2-in-1 checks off important boxes for IT as well as HR since Dell’s recent survey found 91% of respondents say technology influences job choices.

Dell’s ExpressSign-in and Windows Hello make it easy to login. The system detects your presence and then uses Windows Hello cameras to sign you in, so that you are ready to work without pressing a button, using Ctrl-Alt-Del or even reaching out to tap the screen. This tech also knows when you step away for a break, locking the computer to keep your work secure and save battery life.
With the 78Whr battery option the Dell Latitude 7400 2-in-1 battery life is rated for 24 hours, and it supports Dell ExpressCharge to get 80% battery power with an hour on the charger. You can expand your mobile productivity with available Cat16 Gigabit LTE built-in. This new tech is up to three times faster than the previous solution Dell offered.
This thin business 2-in-1 is starts at 2.99 pounds and Dell still managed to offer Dell ControlVault 3 for multi-factor authentication, an optional SmartCard reader with NFC antenna that is built-in under the touchpad and integration of VMWare’s WorkspaceONE. Users will love the thin and light looks, and IT will love the security and management features.
Machined aluminium in Titanium Gray with a brushed design and diamond cut edges give the Dell Latitude 7400 2-in-1 stylish looks and the base is made of a magnesium alloy with soft touch paint that feels good and is easy to hold on to. Checking off another box, this is the first Latitude to use recycled ocean plastics package.
The Dell Latitude 7400 2-in-1 starts at $1,599 and is available in March 2019 direct from Dell.
