Droid Bionic’s Full Retail Price Revealed

Published

on

We’re still waiting for the Motorola Droid Bionic‘s pricing from Verizon. We have a pretty good feeling it’s going to be $299 on a new two-year contract which, for most of you, is too expensive. But what about full retail pricing? We’ve heard $590 before but a sleuth from Phandroid has discovered that that price is going to be the real deal when the Droid Bionic arrives, most likely on September 8th.

Buried within the DroidDoes.com Terms and Conditions page are several mentions of the Droid Bionic’s approximate retail value and the number attached to those details is $589.99. So, if you were looking to get this without signing your name over to Verizon for a couple of years, you’re going to have to fork over some serious cash.

So, we’re looking at $300 with a contract and $590 without one.  Too expensive for most people so we can only hope that retailers like Wirefly and Amazon offer it for a lot cheaper.

If you haven’t already, it might be time to check out Verizon’s massive Droid Bionic ad campaign and see if you can win a free one.

We’re pretty sure free is a lot better than breaking the bank.
