Far Harbor Fallout 4 DLC Release: 5 Things to Expect & 4 Not To

Don't Expect a Pre-Load or Pre-Order

While it would be lovely if Bethesda offered pre-orders and a Far Harbor pre-load, that probably won't be happening. 

Automatron and Wasteland Workshop both just...appeared. There was no way for Season Pass holders to pre-load them ahead of their unlock time and there was no way for everyone else to buy them as standalone DLC ahead of their release dates.

At the stroke of midnight, Season Pass holders could download the new content and those looking to buy individually could buy and download from Steam, the Microsoft Store and the Sony Store. 

Look for Bethesda to stick to its release protocol with Far Harbor and decline to offer a pre-load or a pre-order.
