Far Harbor Fallout 4 DLC Release: 5 Things to Expect & 4 Not To

When Far Harbor arrives in May, expect your retail options to be limited at first. When Automatron and Wasteland Workshop arrived they unlocked at three retailers: Steam for PC, the Microsoft Store for Xbox One owners and the PlayStation Store for PS4 users. Other retailers were made to wait. Automatron and Wasteland Workshop eventually emerged at places like Green Man Gaming, Amazon and GameStop but they didn't appear there at midnight. We'd expect the same from Far Harbor. For most of you, this won't matter. But those of you looking to buy Far Harbor with Amazon/GameStop gift cards will probably have to wait a few hours at least. It actually took a couple of days for Automatron and Wasteland Workshop to make their way to third-party retailers. | ||||||||||

The information with the preorder/preload regarding automatron is incorrect because I downloaded that dlc a few hours before midnight release.

You can get the dlc earlier if you change your location settings on your console. I switched my location to New Zealand, and was able to get both DLCs 12 hours before their official release dates

I’d like to point out you guys made it a point to say you’d put money down for it to be released on one of the 5 Tuesday’s in May….but it will be released the 19th….that’s a Thursday, not Tuesday…where’s our money?!?
