Bethesda has launched an official Fallout 4 website that teases the company's E3 press conference live stream. It also seems to confirm some of the company's Fallout 4 release plans, plans that are sure to frustrate owners of select Xbox and PlayStation consoles.
In the buildup to today's tease, we saw some evidence that seemed to hint at a Fallout 4 release for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Unfortunately, it appears that that was wishful thinking because Bethesda's Fallout 4 website teases three versions of the game. The Fallout 4 release will evidently hit the Xbox One, PS4 and the PC. As of right now, that's it. And while the door is still open for a surprise at E3, Xbox 360 and PS3 users should temper their expectations right now. In 2015, we've started to see companies shift away from last-generation consoles and focus on the current-generation consoles. Key titles like The Witcher 3, which took several years of development, have simply not arrived for the Xbox 360 or PS3. It appears that Fallout 4 will skip them as well.
