The one trick that made all the difference for me was to use duct tape to cover the scoreboard. When you don’t see those points, you don’t get nervous and can better concentrate on the game:

– The point of the game is to find the grove while playing a very very hard game. High score comes second.
– the bird flies up fast and falls down slow.
– get to know the range of the tap.
– Tap slower. Don’t be afraid to let the bird fall. Its better for the bird to be near the bottom pipe than the upper pipe. It’s too easy to double tap.
– take a 5 seconds break before retry. It really helps.
– you will discover there is a rhythm to this game. Find it and stay in the groove. The game is bloody hard (which is why we like it) but should no longer be frustrating.
