A new beautiful photo has been discovered lurking on Picasa and given the model number, it looks like the photo was likely taken by the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
Tomorrow, Samsung will launch the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, its Galaxy Note 2 successor that will be hitting shelves at some point later this yea with rumors suggesting that the device could arrive as early as mid-September. Consumers are likely to be tempted by its quick release date and its big time features which are said to include a number of upgrades from the Galaxy Note 2.
Galaxy Note 3 rumors insist upon a big screen upgrade, new S Pen features and a new camera, possibly of the 13MP variety. The camera in particular would be a huge upgrade given that both the Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy Note shared similar cameras.
In the past, we’ve seen several alleged camera samples leak out though none of them as interesting as the photo found on Picasa today by PhoneArena that appears to show a Photo Sphere like panorama taken with a device called SM-N900T, a known model number of the Galaxy Note 3. The photo joins a host of other samples but it is, by far, the best Galaxy Note 3 photo sample to date.
The image, which has since been taken down, shows a beautiful panoramic shot shot with the Galaxy Note 3, a sign that Photo Sphere or a Photo Sphere like feature will be on board the Galaxy Note 3.
Early Galaxy S4 rumors suggested that the device would have a feature called Samsung Orb on board, a feature that would serve as the company’s own version of Google’s Photo Sphere which arrived with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The feature missed the Galaxy S4 but was rumored to be coming with the Galaxy Note 3.
The feature was rumored to be similar to Photo Sphere but that it would have Facebook support on board. Photo Sphere photos are shared to Google’s social network, Google+.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is expected to arrive with a host of model numbers for several different carriers including several in the United States. The SM-N900T is expected to be an LTE model for release outside the U.S.
Tomorrow’s announcement in Berlin, Germany should be host not only to the Galaxy Note 3 but to the Galaxy Gear smartwatch as well, a device that is heavily rumored for arrival and will serve as a companion device for Samsung Galaxy smartphone owners.
